The Cracked Crab

Today I took a day trip with some friends to visit one of my all time favorite restaurants,
"The Cracked Crab" In Pismo Beach, California. Check out the link here:  http://www.crackedcrab.com/

Once again, Mike and Rocko WOWED us with their culinary treasures. All three couples ordered the "Big Bucket"for two. So much food, we couldnt finsish. But took home a supeer big goodie bag.

We enjoyed the Alaska King Crab tails for our appetizers. They are a house specialty that you would not believe. So good! For desert, we had their homemade key-lime pie. Nothing better!
They offer an amazing array of fine wines from the local wineries, something for everyone.

If your're ever in Pismo, and looking for a place that serves only the best quality seafood.
Go, to the Cracked Crab.

I"m finished!!!! "Brindie Spearman - Pop Princess" is done!!!

OMG, I am so happy to share with my friends. Tonight, just now! I finished my second erotica novella.
This one is called "Pop Princess - Brindie Spearman" and YES, it is what you think it is.
I have some edits to do, and hope to get done with them as soon as next week. then a synopsis and query. Then, I'll submit it.
I have to say, this one was fun. Not because of my connection to Kevin, but because it was truly amazing to write something that the world will get a kick out of. If you like erotica, I am sure, you will like this. A look into the world of pop, hmmmmmm....
Have a nice night, :-)

911

Today I sat and watched several shows on TV recounting the terror of 911.
And like ten years ago, I felt as if my heart was being torn from my chest.
Such a sad time for so many people.
But today I was also reminded of the many reasons I am so PROUD of my country.
The eyewitness accounts that I watched today showed me a pictures of true heroism.
No matter who we are, what color we are, what sex we are, what religion we are, or whatever profession we chose, ALL of us stood together as Americas, and became one.
AMERICA!!! I am so proud to be part of you....

Sierra Sky Ranch & The Hangover 2

Went with some friends and saw "The Hangover 2" It was absolutely hilarious but really way over the top.... I cant wait to see what they do with #3 it can only be about Allen.... haha

Also, I took my husband to the Sierra Sky Ranch for our anniversary Monday night. I highly recommend the place. We were treated like the queen and king of the ball. If you are ever in the need of a place to stay in Oakhurst CA, drop in and say hello. Oh, and did I say it was haunted?????

Who's Point Of View Is It Anyway? And What About That Attitude?

Lately, I’ve found myself writing my romance novels from the hero’s POV. Not that that is really odd. But it made me think about other authors and how they write. One of my favorite romance authors is ‘Lisa Kleypas’. I love most of her books, but steer more toward her regencies. I have read books where she writes in the hero’s POV and visa-versa. In either case, I think she is fabulous at making the switch. It is an art for sure. One I hope to master.
Along another line, what do you think about attitude when it comes to characters? Have you ever just despised a character for their attitude? Or not been able to fall in love with a character because of their attitude? Was it the hero or the heroin? How do we actually judge a character when they have an attitude we just do not like. I mean, if I like the book, I will finish the story and understand that a characters attitude is part of what makes him or her interesting, despised or both . I suppose it all boils down to the complete story. Before judging a characters attitude, we really do have to wait until the end.

Good Night!

Yosemite Romance Writers VP

Hello,
Today I was elected V.P. of my local RWA chapter (Yosemite Romance Writers)YRW
It was wonderful to have my co-members elect me, and to know that they have trust in me to do the job.
I know the position will keep me busy with the group, and I look forward to the challenges throughout 2011.
Sheri Humphreys was elected president, and to her I give my congratulations, as well as all of our other new elected. I look forward to working with all of them.

We also did story book mapping for our current W.I.P's. and I have to say that it was quite fun. It was a little fast paced which made it a challenge. But what a blast!

Sheri recently made a trip to Aswan Egypt ( I am very jealous :-/ ) and she brought me two books that will be helpful with my manuscript "A Pharaoh's Kiss" THANK YOU Sheri!

Have a great night!
