Have you ever created a protagonist that you find yourself falling in love with instead of hating? Call me weird  but I love when that happens. Maybe I'm a sucker for the underdog, or maybe I just love challenging the mind. Whatever the case, I say,,, "You GO protagonist"

Regency-vs-Victorian-vs-Western

Any author who has written about the Regency era, also knows how close the time line coincides with the Victorian era. Being faced with the issues of what your characters should and should not wear, or the changes in vocabulary. There is an amazing amount of research material out there to help us in our plight. But wouldn't it be fantastic to just step back in time and enjoy one evening at the Royal Pavilion, or take a ride in a gig curricle with your one and only......

Today is the seconda day of my weekend. Yahooooooo,,, Hopefully I'll get in a few hours of writing time.


Sit back, sip a cool glass of iced tea (or a frozen margarita) whichever I'm in the mood for,,,, eat some yummy Mexican food with a few friends and dream about that illusive love scene that keeps managing to escape me.

Anniversaries and Friends

So this year, I celebrate my 30th Anniversary... Or so I think it's my 30th. it might be my 29th or maybe my 31st.


You see, when I got married I didn't care what day it was, what month it was, what year it was. because honestly, I married the man of my dreams. I know it's this month because, well, thats when we went to Reno all those years ago and said I DO. It's either on the 28th or maybe the 27th. I lost my wedding certificate years ago in a car crash when i was moving to Alaska, and never bothered to replace it. 
What it really boils down to is this,,,, my anniversary is fun every year because I celebrate it with the the man I chose all those years ago to live and die with. If god is good to us, we will hopefully have 30 more.


With that said,,, I would like to say a BIG happy anniversary to two special friends. "Cara & Dennis Cunnigs" Happy 30Th ((today is your day)),, and we know it's yours...............  Love ya!!!
